OTHER INFORMATION OF INTEREST
  • On the day of the activity, you must be at the time you have booked at Punta de Teno. The meeting point is 50 metres from the bus stop. Follow the promenade and go left to the bay where the small fishing boats are located. We recommend you to be there at least 15 minutes in advance.
  • Maritime activities may be subject to unforeseen schedule changes. Please note that there are no restaurants, shops or food and beverage outlets in Punta de Teno. Therefore, we recommend that you always bring something to eat and drink, irrespective of the time you choose to book.

How to get to Punta de Teno?

  • Private vehicle access to Punta de Teno is restricted. You can only reach the municipality of Buenavista del Norte by car. You must then take a public bus from the Buenavista del Norte bus station to Punta de Teno. Line 369 leaves the station every hour all year round from 10:00 am. The price of a single ticket is one euro and can be paid in cash, by card and with the TEN+ card. We recommend being there well in advance and taking it directly at the station, as it tends to be very crowded. The journey takes about 20 minutes (see timetables and more information here).

Kayaking in Tenerife offers a unique and rewarding experience, with a range of both physical and emotional benefits. Here are some of the benefits of engaging in this activity in this stunning paradise:

Physical Exercise: Kayaking is an excellent form of cardiovascular exercise and muscle toning. Paddling against ocean currents and around cliffs provides a good workout for the arms, torso, and legs.

Nature Exploration: The Cliffs of the Giants are a breathtaking natural wonder, with towering rock walls rising from the ocean. Kayaking allows you to explore these rock formations up close, as well as the marine life inhabiting the nearby waters.

Adventure and Excitement: Paddling a kayak along the cliffs can be thrilling and challenging, especially when waves and currents are present. This adds an element of adventure to the experience, making it even more exciting.

Relaxation and Connection with Nature: Despite the excitement and challenge, kayaking in the Cliffs of the Giants can also be a very relaxing experience. The tranquility of the ocean and the majesty of the cliffs can help you disconnect from daily stress and connect with nature.

Unique Perspective: Seeing the cliffs from sea level offers a unique perspective that cannot be obtained from land. It allows you to appreciate the magnitude and beauty of these rock formations from a new viewpoint.

What if the weather is bad?

  • IMPORTANT: If, due to weather conditions, the activity has to be cancelled on the same day, it will be replaced directly by one of our boat trips along the Los Gigantes Cliffs (in this case the timetable may be subject to change). If the latter is not possible either, a refund will be made.
  • We recommend you bring: swimming costume, T-shirt, hat and sunscreen. Mask if necessary. We have a place to leave your belongings.
  • It is essential to know how to swim.
