Sustainable Tourism Practices Awards

Cabildo Recognizes Sustainable Tourism Practices

For the past 5 years, the Cabildo de Tenerife has been organizing the Sustainable Tourism Practices Awards on the island.

Turismo de Tenerife manages this competition, which aims to “highlight and reward ‘good practices in sustainability of companies, local administrations and other public and private entities (non-profit) in the tourism sector, as well as students and university graduates, within the different categories contemplated in the bases.”

In this latest edition, Tazirga has been recognized as the Best Sustainable Tourism Practice in Nature. We have tied with another partner that we greatly appreciate and with whom we share the joy of moving forward on this path of sustainable tourism: Feel Tenerife.

CRITERIA FOR ACCESSING THE SUSTAINABLE TOURISM PRACTICES AWARDS

The jury evaluates various criteria in this competition, based on the company’s alignment with them.

  1. Relationship with Sustainability
  2. Creativity and Innovation
  3. Degree of Execution
  4. Suitability to the Category
  5. Tangible Results Extra: CO2 Footprint

First of all, at Tazirga, the Relationship of our activities with sustainability is very evident, as it is one of our main values. Creativity and innovation allow us to differentiate ourselves from other companies. We have developed completely different routes that increase the offer in the market. The degree of execution of the activities can be seen from when we started in 2020 to the present day. We can also observe the suitability to the category of Nature Tourism in our case. And finally, we have observed the tangible results of reaching a wide audience, both local and foreign, on our routes.

Therefore, the only area in which we have to continue working is the mitigation of the carbon footprint. To do this, contact us if you have any project where we can collaborate.

Tazirga’s Gratitude

At Tazirga, we take great pride in this recognition. Through our work, we also recognize the many invisible people whose voices we amplify on our routes.

And we hope that these Sustainable Tourism Practices Awards will be a way to continue motivating us to work for Sustainability from the heart. And that all the entities and institutions involved do so truly because of its importance. Not for the photo.

ALWAYS: THANK YOU
