What shall we do?

You will get to know Vallehermoso with a walk to the La Encantadora dam with a local guide.

In detail

I propose a hiking route in La Gomera, from the town of Vallehermoso to the dam of La Encantadora, all within the natural area of the Sabinar de Vallehermoso, the largest in the Canary Islands, you can learn about native plants that we will find along the path, as well as the important crops in the area, geological details, history of the town and more specifically of the dam and the reasons why it was built.

The dam guarantees irrigation for crops throughout the basin and is the habitat for nesting birds and other migratory birds such as the grey herons that return each winter and more creatures that you will meet.

RECOMMENDATIONS: take enough water, a cap or hat, sun cream, mackintosh and warm clothes depending on the season, appropriate footwear for walking in the mountains, hiking poles.

The activity will take place with a minimum of 4 people, we will let you know when you make your reservation. If the minimum number of participants is not reached and you still wish to do the activity, you can pay the difference to do it privately. If this is not desired, it will be reimbursed.
